Tips for postal registration

Dear customers!
On the way to you from abroad, each of your parcels must pass through customs.

99%

More than 99% of parcels pass without delay

2/3

More than 2/3 are released without charging a fee

1000 $

Goods worth up to $ 1000 are not subject to duty

To further minimize the percentage of delayed parcels, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the main reasons and customs regulations.

The main reasons for the detention of parcels by customs:

  • To clarify the actual cost of the product.
  • If you are suspected of evading customs duties when transporting a large number of parcels with the same type of goods in one shipment.
  • Upon detection of prohibited goods for shipment.
  • For the control of goods subject to the intellectual property check.

TIPS FOR MINIMIZING THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH CUSTOMS CLEARANCE:

1. RESTRICTED GOODS AND DANGEROUS GOODS

It is not recommended to send goods from the list of prohibited goods to Uzbekistan. Also, there are rules for the transportation of dangerous goods, such as: batteries, accumulators, power bank, liquids, powders.

2. Parcels that do not pass through the norms of the postal format

Packages weighing more than 30 kg or worth more than $ 1000 (including the cost of delivery). As well as products that are not used for personal use. For example, those products that are used to make a profit.

3. More than $ 1000 per quarter-commercial cargo!

According to the norms of the postal format, you can send parcels with a total cost of up to $ 1,000 per quarter to one recipient. The calendar year is divided into 4 quarters

I quarter

January

February

March

II quarter

April

May

June

III quarter

july

August

September

IV quarter

October

november

december

Instead of underestimating the cost of orders exceeding $ 1,000, divide the order into several parcels and send the parcels with such a time interval that they go to customs on different days of the week and to different recipients

4. IDENTICAL PRODUCTS

Send no more than 2-3 packages with identical, similar products in one day, even if the recipients are completely different people. If you send an undivided product worth more than 1000 dollars or you want to send a very large quantity of goods at once, take advantage of commercial cargo delivery. Подробнее

5. FILL OUT THE DECLARATION CORRECTLY

In the declaration, specify the correct quantity and description of the goods. Customs may confiscate goods that are not specified in the declaration or are indicated with an incorrect quantity. In the product description, you should not write "gift / gift" or "sample / sample" even if you were sent goods as a sample or as a gift, since any product has a value that is evaluated by customs officials.

6. SAVE INVOICES FOR PRODUCTS

Keep the documents confirming the cost of the product. If, in the opinion of customs, the cost is underestimated, then for verification they will ask for invoices confirming the cost, bank statements, screenshots of orders, links to the goods. Proof of value that it is impossible to check, the customs will not take into account.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE PARCEL WAS STOPPED BY CUSTOMS?

If your parcel is detained by customs control officers, then you should not worry, as the main part of the parcels is released without charging a fee. You will be contacted by our colleagues from the YUMECS branch in Tashkent with a notification about the delay of the parcel. You will need to report to the customs post. If everything is fine and the goods in the parcel pass through the norms of duty-free import, then it is transferred for delivery in the usual mode. If the parcel still exceeded the limit in value or weight, or its contents are not used for personal use, then you will have to pay a fee and after the parcel will be handed over for delivery. The customs authorities of Uzbekistan are an independent state structure, not divisions of our country. the company. We cannot influence them or in any way guarantee that even following these recommendations will allow you to avoid questions from them. However, we are sure that by using them, most of the questions it will be solved faster and more efficiently.
